"I Accuse..." by Jarnail Singh, with Foreward from one of my favourite authors of all the time Khushwant singh. (Iam just obsessed with his writing.)   This is all about how 1984 riots started and how the community got badly affected and the aftermath. The black days as I call them...   While I was reading this book, I could easily picturize the anecdotes, the loot scenes, the scenes which shows the atrocities done on the community. Why so, one may ask cause these were those black days and nights during which my family also struggled to save their religious beliefs, their business, family members especially the men.   I was merely 4 years then but my grandmother use to share the stories so as the other elders in the family. Even if the names in the book are different from those of my known people but the stories are just the same. I saw their faces while going through the pages, i saw our oldest house and the community area where the elders use to sit and gossip and play ...

  When both of us are desperately waiting for the day and longing for the time to be together. When we surrender in each other That is the most beautiful time. The wait to pass through the long waiting time; in the long distance is one good and bad thing but That is the most beautiful time. A time where you think about him every single breath you take, every time you blink and more than the pores in your body. That is the most beautiful time. A new day has begun with fresh sunlight everywhere, But here we are the same old us, With the same old passion and love for the nature around us.   I must admit one thing every second,  every moment we spent together, gave me a divine pleasure of becoming one with you.   I find it like a light in the invisible part of my life, A light which shows you how worth you are to live your life. As the Day 6 came close to end, with the boring Monday as it started. I am on fast today and don't know why but mood is not so good. It seems after yesterday's goof up my Boss is not happy and she asked me last night what happened today? But as I was not in frame of mind to answer her I was online till 3am with my sister, we sang songs and before that I had good amount of drink and was in different mood all together and didn't wanted to go into any discussion that time. So, I replied her late in night where I accepted my mistake and sent her detailed message. Monday started with a half heart at work and then as the day continues, it was off the heart today. I also had severe back pain and for this had to take break for an hour from the work. Later around 8:30 my mom cooked Mooli paratha for me and the food worked it all. As you all know there is no domestic help nowadays at home cause of the virus and no movement allowed. So, had to wash the utensils and clothes mysel...

So, Day 4 and its becoming tougher and tougher day by day. But thank God there is work and internet to help you survive. Today after 3 days I went out to buy the basic veggies and essential grocery just from the shop outside our society. So, I covered myself with mask and all and then went out with dad. There were just 4-5 carts from where we could buy some veggies and then grocery from outside shop and then back to our den and back to work. Interestingly I remembered we had a machine where we could clean the hazardous chemicals from the veggies skin and I used that today and cleaned the veggies which I bought from outside and I must say the veggies were again fresh like just peeled off from the garden and served. I want to thank you to my father's friend who gifted him this machine and now today we got chance to use it and understand its worth. Day 3 about to finish Health is much better today and feeling a little fresh too. Here I am standing still on quarantine time and running from washroom to work area and then to kitchen and back to work area...lol Finishing my day's task at work, covering remotely as best I can and working on my day 3 challenge to post something here. And that is the Egg Bhurji or the Anda Bhurji I cooked today especially for my mom. Its one of her favourite dishes. So here is the picture. And she liked it too, some we have kept for tomorrow's breakfast too as it tastes awesome the next day.  So until tomorrow I sign off from here still thinking what I will be doing tomorrow. 

So here we are, Day 2 is about to finish now. Though my health is OK, not so good but had to push myself and not be a lazy bum I just kicked myself and went away from the laptop for sometime atleast and tried my hands on baking Aata Biscuits. Though they came out well not so extraordinary....lol...just normal biscuits we can eat at home. Utilizing the lockdown days baking was also one thing in my wishlist and there is more to come, I am not stricking this off yet. I know I can do better and the next batch will come out more tastier and more presentable than these ones. I followed the recipe from youtube and in the quest of making the second batch in few days I will find out another receipe...and I know I will succeed.
