Tweet tweet!!!!

With the advent of technology, innovations are always there in any medium of communication and knowledge sharing. Since last few years Twitter is hitting the list on the top slot.

Couple of days back I and our ED were having a discussion about the popularity of Twitter; and that how it is having a very high valuation; he shared his views that a person can tweet for long hours or read tweets from around 3 hours a day and do nothing. We were astonished on this point that even if the writing bar does not give you the option to write more than a specific number of words but then also it is famous.

I do tweet sometime but cannot sit and tweet regularly as some of my friends do, and I believe this in-turn is based on the user’s interest also. Apart from professional information what knowledge I am getting after reading the tweets? But then also it is like a favorite time-pass of people now and if they don’t have anything to do they Tweet or read others tweets. I have not come across any tweet which says anything about future or tomorrow in the personal/ professional life of anyone; but it is only telling us what happened now, what happened two days back or whenever but history, or if its future its not so interesting…and then also it is hitting the charts.

Recently there was news on yahoo that “Scottish author's one-post-a-day Twitter book will finish in 2025!” This is nothing but increasing inquisitiveness to read/ follow his every new tweet. Are people so crazy that they can use a site for writing a novel line-by-line in parts? This news was actually interesting for me: http://in.news.yahoo.com/139/20091024/882/twl-scottish-author-s-one-post-a-day-twi.html

As this author is thinking of this wild idea of writing his book in this manner; I wonder how many tweets he has to write then…oops….

Now; I would love to have my readers’ feedback on tweets, twitter….
